The Nizam College Library was established in the year 1986 as a Learning Resource Centre. The facility is centrally located in the Main Library Block of the campus and provides a calm and serene environment conducive for focused learning and academic activities for both students and faculty members.

The library is fully computerized and automated using New GenLib Software for all library operations. It is spread over an area of approximately 1022.196 square yards, with a spacious reading hall covering around 3801 square feet.

The reading area has a seating capacity of about 150 students, while the Study Centre area extends over 926.29 square feet with seating accommodation for 30 students. The library is also equipped with 13 computer systems that provide access to the Digital Library, OPAC services and the Lending Section.

Books are issued to students and faculty members through a barcode-based circulation system. The library remains open on all working days from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, while the Study Centre functions from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

The library infrastructure, peaceful ambiance, extended study hours, availability of qualified library staff, automation facilities and online access collectively support the institution’s mission of providing a quality learning environment for students and faculty.
