Greetings to all. With a great sense of pride and responsibility, I took over as the Principal of this prestigious edifice of learning, which has a sparkling history of 122 years of promoting education in the state of Andhra Pradesh, on 13-8-2009. There are big tasks coming up in the near future to be accomplished like: Autonomy Extension, NAAC Re-Accreditation and proposal for CPE. With the great zeal of the college fraternity and a strong support system of the college teaching, non-teaching and administrative departments, the college can steer towards the set goals.

It is yet another feather in the cap of the college as it is the most sought after college for the international students. To meet the expectations and face the challenges thrown in the international arena, the college leaves no stone unturned to keep itself abreast in the field of education. In this process, the college is constantly keeping itself updated and upgraded in terms of infrastructure, new courses like add-on and skill oriented courses, to be on par with other top rated colleges in India.
The college is not just focusing on imparting academic knowledge to the wards ,but it is also bent on imbibing life skills, soft skills and communicative skills to help them in honing up their personality and graduate from the portals of the college as persons with social responsibility. The college has organized Orientation programme, Induction Programme and inaugurated a mentoring cell for the benefit of the student community.

Many faculty members are into active research by undertaking minor and major research projects. The administration of the college always encourages the departments to organize workshops, conferences, guest lectures and seminars.
I take this opportunity to wish all the students a great success and I hope that the exceptional academic traditions and culture of the college would be handed down to the coming generations. I am sure that I would get timely cooperation from teaching, non -teaching staff and students so that we can together fly the pennant of Nizam College, high.
