Eligibility Criteria
|
 |
- A student seeking admission to B.Sc. / B.Com. / B.A. courses should have passed the Intermediate Examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Examination, A.P. or any other examinations recognized as equivalent. For admission into B.Sc. the student should have studied the relevant subjects at the +2 level while all students who have passed intermediate are eligible to apply for B.Com. & B.A. courses irrespective of the subjects studied at the Intermediate level.
- A student seeking admission to B.Sc. I Year course should have passed and obtained at least 40% marks in the optional subjects at the qualifying examination. For S.C. & S.T. category pass marks is the eligibility criterion.
- Compartmental and Instant Examination Candidates: Candidates passing the qualifying examination compartmentally or through instant examination are treated on par and the latter are also eligible to apply but their cases will be considered provided:
- Seats are available after accommodating 'one attempt candidates' who would have submitted their application within the stipulated time.
- They submit the memorandum of marks and other necessary documents before the prescribed date.
- No Candidate is permitted to pursue more than one course at a time in the same institution or different institutions simultaneously.
- All students pursuing degree courses in Nizam College are eligible for the certificate and diploma cases introduced under UGC add-on scheme.
