DEPARTMENT OF PHILOSOPHY

The Department of Philosophy offers UG programme (along with the combinations of Psychology and Sociology). The Department is also involved in designing the syllabus for the students of plus two who do not have formal training in Philosophy. The syllabus for three years of UG introduces the different branches of Philosophy both Western and Indian philosophical framework. There are two exclusive papers on logic and ethics. The syllabus is designed after referring the social science syllabi of all the institutions of the world that are in to various fields of social science education and training and the same is updated every year. The Department organizes weekend internal seminars for the students.
