Department of Mathematics
The Department of Mathematics was formed since the inception of Nizam College. Now it is a full fledged Department with one Professor, two Assistant Professors and more than five Academic consultants. There are various combinations of B.Sc., which offer Mathematics as main course. In addition to common core syllabus, Complex Analysis is also introduced in the year 2005 for B.Sc final year due to its wide applications. Numerical Analysis and Lap lace transforms are offered as electives for final year students. Problem sessions are conducted during tutorial classes to strengthen mathematical skills and basic concepts of the students. The faculty members, apart from active teaching are also fully engaged in research work. |

She joined service on May 15, 2007 and is Assistant Professor since May 2007. She got her M. Sc in 1989 and M. Phil in 1993. |
| She completed her M. Tech in 2003. Her Area of specialisation is Applied Mathematics and Interest area is Magneto Hydro dynamics. |
